Grain Engulfment Training

Farmers Cooperative, in partnership with Safety & Technical Rescue Association (SATRA), will facilitate our grain engulfment training. This training will be mandatory for all Grain Location Managers and Grain Elevator Superintendents. Separate training sessions will be held December 7th and 8th for local volunteer fire departments. Any Farmers Cooperative employee who will not be attending a session with their fire department will need to come to the employee session on December 6th.

This training emphasizes the prevention of entrapment through safe work practices. The most valuable part of the course is a live, controlled grain engulfment simulation, allowing participants to engage in a hands-on rescue scenario.
