2023 Wellness Requirements

With the start of 2023, we wanted to remind everyone that the wellness requirements for the upcoming open enrollment have restarted again. You and your spouse, if on our insurance, will have until the end of August to complete the biometrics and health survey on Virgin Pulse, if you would like the cheaper premium. All employees on our insurance and that were hired before 12/31/2022 will have to complete these requirements to receive the cheaper premium. Although the wellness plan is not required, there are some great benefits to participating. If you complete the biometrics and health survey, you will qualify for the cheaper insurance premium in August. There are also chances to earn HSA dollars by actively participating in our wellness app, Virgin Pulse. Employees can earn $100 per quarter up to $500 for the year, and spouses can earn $50 per quarter up to $250 for the year. If you earned H.S.A money from the app in 2022, you should see those dollars in your account in the next couple of weeks.

Our biometric screenings are the first requirement for the wellness plan. These screenings test your cholesterol, HSL, LDL, Triglycerides, Glucose, Blood Pressure, Height, Weight, Waist Circumference, and BMI. To get an accurate reading, please fast for 9 hours before your screening. If you haven’t signed up already, screening times and locations are as follows:

How to sign up for the Biometric Screenings

  1. Call eHealth at 888-708-8807 x 1 Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
  2. Sign up online
    1. Go to https://scheduler.ehealthscreenings.com/login 
    2. Go to Not Yet Registered, type WEL254 in the Screening Key and click Submit
    3. Enter your default username and password
      1. Username: First Initial + Last Initial + DOB (MMDDYYYY) (Example: John Smith born 04/23/1975 is JS04231975)
    4. Enter your password
      1. Password (Example: Smith)
    5. Update account information with new username and password and click Submit
    6. If you would like a text reminder select Yes otherwise select No
    7. Select the state you want to complete your screening in
    8. Use the drop-down function to choose your desired location, date, and time
    9. Acknowledge the Health Screening Consent by checking the “I agree” box located at the bottom of the consent. Enter first and last and name in the Signature section
    10. Once you have submitted the sign-up process, a confirmation page will generate
    11. Please call eHealth if you have issues with the online sign up process
*If you can’t make a biometric screening, you can take a form to your physician to get filled out. To get the form please call the number above. Since it contains your private health information, it will be up to you to send those results directly to eHealth. Any test that the physician runs that is not preventative or added to the screening would not be covered.
 

Virgin Pulse 

Virgin Pulse is our wellness app, and this is where you will find your second requirement and where you can log activity to earn points for H.S.A contributions. If you are already signed up for Virgin Pulse, your account will update automatically. If you still need to sign up, then please follow the directions below.
  1. Join Virgin Pulse by visiting www.join.virginpulse.com/farmers. Fill out the required fields to confirm your eligibility, and then click Continue.
  2. Enter your preferred email and create a password to create your account. Once you’ve created your account, you can sign in and get started right away.
  3. If you have a smartphone, you can also download the Virgin Pulse app to make tracking easy.

Open enrollment this year will be from Monday, December 2nd to the end of day Friday, December 6th. You can enroll in or make changes to your insurance plans through your ADP profile or by calling (888) 598-2040. If you do not complete open enrollment, you will be auto-enrolled in your current coverages. Our insurance plan year begins on January 1st.
