Farmers Cooperative Donates To Fairmont Volunteer Fire Department
Mar 04, 2022
The Fairmont Volunteer Fire Department received a $5,000 contribution from Farmers Cooperative to upgrade Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Air Packs.
SCBA Air Packs allow firefighters to breathe clean air while entering areas that have potentially dangerous toxins in the environment.
The Fairmont Volunteer Fire Department continues to raise money for the SCBA Air Packs. They will hold a prime rib dinner and music event on April 2, 2022, at the Fairmont American Legion. Tickets for the event can be purchased by contacting any of the Fairmont volunteer firemen.
Land O’Lakes matched the donation with an additional $5,000, for a total contribution of $10,000.
