Difference Maker Nominee: Wendi Strein
Jan 18, 2022

Many times, our employees demonstrate our core values and make a difference without blinking an eye. Farmers Cooperative truly has a dedicated employee base that takes pride in the work we do and the patrons and communities we sere. With so many employees and locations, these difference making acts don't always get recognized by our peers. Because of that, we are excited to roll out a new employee recognition program to help spotlight the hard work employees demonstrate on a day-to-ay basis. This program allows employees to recognize other employees.
Congratulations to Wendi Strein, Agronomy Billing Specialist in Plymouth, on being nominated for making a difference at Farmers Cooperative.
Name:
Wendi Strein
Work Location:
Plymouth Agronomy
Job Title:
Agronomy Billing Specialist
Number of Years with Farmers Cooperative:
7 years
What does a typical day look like?
A typical day involves answering incoming calls and fielding questions from customers and locations, handling prepays and billing for several locations, processing all precision ag billing, and providing customer service to anyone that comes through the door each day.
What do you enjoy the most about working for Farmers Cooperative?
I enjoy the customer relationships as well as working with all the employees at our location.
What core value do you identify with the most?
Communities
Why did you choose that core value?
I was fortunate enough to grow up in a small town and know how much community really means. Whether it’s coming together to get through the hard times or to support local teams, the people of Plymouth exemplify what it means to be a community. I learned from an early age that service was just a way of life, and because community is important, I’ve organized the Plymouth Fun Run for the past nine years. I am proud that my sense of community is one of the core values that made me who I am today.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy attending my children's activities, spending time with family and friends, gardening, and the outdoors.
